Family Assistance Center
     Employment Readiness
   The ER Program Manager will assist you and your family members with your search for employment, resumes, application preparation, and career counseling. The ER Program Manager also maintains listings of employment opportunities available on/off the installation. We have resource materials, office equipment e.g., computers, typewriter, copy and fax machine to assist you with your resume/application preparation. We also have automated SF 171/OF 612 (Federal Applications). DA Form 3433 (Application for Non-Appropriated Fund, Employment) and DA Form 3433-1 (Supplemental Employment Application Form) are located on the MWR web site, under employment. Both of these forms are required if you are applying for child/youth positions.
  
     Relocation Readiness
   The Relocation Readiness Program provides information, services, guidance, and assistance to DoD personnel and their family members who are making a PCS move to or from the U. S. Army Yuma Proving Ground Community.
  
     Army Emergency Relief (AER)
   The Army Emergency Relief Officer (AERO) or Assistant (AAERO) provides financial assistance to eligible soldiers (active or retired) and their families with Unit Commander's approval. Provides emergency assistance to widows and orphans of deceased active duty or retired soldiers. Applies to:
   (1) Active Duty personnel (except for Navy and Marine personnel as Navy Relief is available at MCAS).
   (2) Army National Guard/Reserves on continuous active duty for more than 30 days.

     Financial Readiness
   The FR Program Manager will provide you with information and prevention education material relating to consumer complaint resolution, consumer rights and obligations, and consumer protection laws. The consumer complaint resolution program may assist you resolve problems with local businesses. Individual counseling is offered for budget planning, check writing, and consumer advocacy.
  
     ACS Food Vouchers
   In times of financial distress, you may call or come by ACS, and bring a current LES for yourself and your spouse if they are employed. Also, please be familiar with your monthly expenses. ACS staff will perform a budget assessment. If the situation warrants, you will be issued a food voucher. Items you may not purchase with the food vouchers are tobacco, health and cleaning products, and beauty aids. The Commissary and/or PX will honor the food voucher, which will enable you to make your purchases. The vouchers are not intended to be a long-term benefit, and are to be used only in times financial difficulties.
  
     Army Family Action Plan Symposium
   The Army Family Action Plan (AFAP) is input from the people of the Army to Army leadership. It's a process that lets soldiers, civilians and families say what's working, and what isn't.
  
     Outreach Program
   The Outreach Program delivers services to the geographically or socially isolated families identified as needing specific outreach services; first-term soldiers and families, geographically separated families, newly arrived soldiers and families in the community, and single parent families at U. S. Army Yuma Proving Ground Community.
  
     Family Advocacy Program
   YPG Family Advocacy Program (FAP) is prevention-based program tasked with developing innovative, educational and proactive programs, coordinating community support services, assessing special needs of the community and publicizing how to report suspected incidents of child and spouse maltreatment and coordinating people with relevant available support services.
  
     Women Infants and Children (WIC)
   Is a federally funded program designed to assist women, infants and young children in maintaining a nutritionally balanced diet. Representatives visit ACS the 4th Wednesday of each month unless otherwise advertised. Appointments are necessary.
  
     Installation Volunteer Program
   The Volunteer Program offers individuals the opportunity to volunteer their time in their community.
